MPC Youth Ministry is led by Youth Pastors Christopher and Daphne Phillips who believe our youth is the church of today, not the church of tomorrow. The Youth Ministry members range in age from four to young adult.

 

To prepare the youth to be used by God and find their purpose, they are taught there is no age limit or requirement to be used by God.  They can be used by God now and can do anything the adults can do as long as they are walking in the Spirit of God.

 

MPC Youth Ministry has many development opportunities to assist the youth with finding their purpose and destiny in God. Our youth events to encourage our youth to operate in:

 

• Service to others by volunteering

• Ministry of arts, teaching and encouraging each other

• Worship through participation in weekly services and facilitating youth-led worship service one Sunday a month

• Discipleship by allowing them to learn how to study the Word of God for it to become a discipline in their life.

 

MPC Youth believes in remembering the Lord in the days of their youth and we encourage them to be active within the House of God at an early age to allow it to become a part of their life.

Different opportunities in which the MPC Youth are involved in within the House of God:

 

• Ushers and Junior Ushers

• Deacons

• Audio/Visual Sound Ministry

• Youth Praise Team

• Musicians

• Creative Arts of Flag Worship, Dance Ministry and Mime 

 

Outside events the youth support:

 

• Back to School Fellowship Service

• Coat Drive

• Vacation Bible School

• Feeding the Homeless
